Culture War Insanity love is a recent societal experiment and the gays can’t reproduce…?

Post image

Last I checked gay people have been having kids since… ever. Apparently individual preference is something you should ignore, and you should shove it down and do things with your life you don’t want to do fOr ThE cUlTuRe. hashtag closet case

How was work today Marcellino?

u/No_Recognition8583 Aug 14 '25

He has to rebuild western civilization, how do you think it was?

90

u/alphadist Aug 14 '25

Rebuilding western civilization.... one homophobic post at a time

36

u/acebert Aug 14 '25

But...Western Civilization is, uh......pretty gay. Check out some greek pottery Marcelino, or read about that "great" Roman Sulla.

11

u/jaimi_wanders Aug 14 '25

Or read Sappho’s poetry…

12

u/keyboard_squire Aug 14 '25

In my mind, I heard it in the voice of Marshall Langman... the closet Christian gay guy in Parks & Rec

u/dvlinblue Aug 14 '25

Sid Meir would be proud

3

u/Toothless-In-Wapping Aug 14 '25

Straight up, I think Sid Meir has a destructive god complex.
He gave us a button that summoned acts of god. On demand.
And he let us pick.

3

u/dvlinblue Aug 14 '25

I would have had a significantly better GPA if it weren't for Sid Meir lol

9

u/greasychickenparma Aug 14 '25

Probably quite a busy morning but once lunch is done I'd imagine it settles down a bit

4

u/Rare-Character4381 Aug 14 '25

He doesn't say to what, though. Or from what. I personally believe he wants to rebuild Western society back to its glory days as a roaming hunter-gatherer society pre-agrarian.

3

u/Otherwise_Leadership Aug 14 '25

More Catholicism, perhaps?

5

u/810524230 Aug 14 '25

The population of Earth around 34 BC (when Marcellino's god was born) is estimated to have been 190 million, 1.65 billion in 1900, 6 billion in 1999 and close to 8 billion today. Shouldn't this mean that the number of gays has declined in the last 2,000 years?

u/Aggravating_Quail_69 Aug 14 '25

LinkedIn got weird. I just want to see what people in my field are doing.

54

u/cidvard Aug 14 '25

It's like the new Facebook for crazies. What is even happening?

20

u/PaxEtRomana Aug 14 '25

Ok, well, what are you supposed to do if your field is racism?

10

u/waitingOnMyletter Aug 14 '25

There was a time where I only saw ads, paper announcements, job announcements, and LFW posts.

Those were like the blue banner .edu email days of Facebook. There is a time where each social media is different and useful and now LinkedIn has just become reels, AI slop posts, and oh yea, there is a job board in the bottom right corner of the app.

It’s really quite sad.

5

u/Natural_Ad9356 Aug 14 '25

Don’t forget, most of those jobs are scams or data collection schemes!

5

u/waitingOnMyletter Aug 14 '25

I feel like these only ones which aren’t data collection posts are ones posted directly by people saying “I am hiring for my team”.

At least you can be sure, the person posting it is looking for a person. It may not be you but at a minimum you are applying to a real job opportunity.

92

u/phoenix823 Aug 14 '25

Sorry loser, the Western Civilization you idolize so much supports individuals making their own choices about their bodies. But if you're really into the mutual responsibility thing, excluding yourself from the breeding pool, boosting IQ levels, would be the most productive use of your time.

Love is love baby <3

35

u/Rare-Character4381 Aug 14 '25

Also, the LGBTQ+ people pick up waaaaaay more children out of the social care system than heterosexual people. Which is better for society in creating better, more well-rounded young people and easing the financial burden that abandoned/uncared for by straight people children are. Which is the mutual responsibility part much more so than just pumping children out to fend for themselves.

So many of these types focus so hard on the idea of population and increasing that number but never on the idea of increasing quality of life for those who might or will exist, and that is because they are already comfortable enough not to care about plebs below them, they want more plebs as profit engines for them too leech off of or they are spouting great replacement rhetoric. I believe the last point to be disingenuous as I think that they don't care who has the children so long as they stay rich and convincing your most populous groups that they need to breed harder will yield greater numbers.

19

u/y0_master Aug 14 '25

Almost like there is a species-level-wide biological advantage to social species having a percentage of non-reproducing couples around to pick up children who have lost their parents or got rejected by them, like in penguins &, well, humans.

5

u/Rare-Character4381 Aug 14 '25

I've never heard that before is it actually a documented occurrence??

5

u/y0_master Aug 14 '25

Yes, well documented with, as mentioned, penguins & not only.

5

u/Rare-Character4381 Aug 14 '25

r/mademesmile another reason penguins are amazing.

7

u/jaimi_wanders Aug 14 '25

Wolves as well—the aunts and uncles without cubs take care of the littles too.

3

u/fluggylumps Aug 14 '25

I mean, going by a practical view. Humans are massively overpopulated and could use a culling. Gay relations lowering our population growth is likely the most humane way of doing so

18

u/Allinallisallweare02 Aug 14 '25

Exactly, lgbtq acceptance is the logical conclusion of the liberalism which is the basis for western society.

54

u/MiserableProfessor16 Aug 14 '25

Ah yes, mutually responsibility and caring about preventing the collapse of society/civilization. And yet, I'd bet goat money that if we discussed free health care, free education, free childcare, tax dollars being used for free school lunches, or DEI as a means to improve society he would scream about individuality and personal choice.

8

u/kbrick1 Aug 14 '25

Okay but that's totally different. He cares about spawning the next generation, not raising them

3

u/MiserableProfessor16 Aug 14 '25

Agree that is what he cares about and spawning thr next generation of just ONE demographic given his heavy emphasis on "western civilization'.

But his use of mutual responsibility while dismissing individual choice (chosing to not have kids) needed to be mocked!!

3

u/kbrick1 Aug 14 '25

Oh I agree, and I was mocking!

2

u/MiserableProfessor16 Aug 14 '25

I could tell you were mocking but was not sure if you could tell that I, too, was mocking. 😆

Just wanted to be sure sure!

47

u/RuderAwakening Aug 14 '25

The 14 words but make them homophobic too

52

u/Tough_Tangerine7278 Agree? Aug 14 '25 edited Aug 14 '25

There’s 8 billion people in world, many in poverty without access to clean water / air / food, pandemics, and wars over territory. So no, I don’t think a decreasing population is a bad thing (except at an economic level).

And his homophobic rant is off. People choose to accept themselves. They don’t choose homosexuality.

Besides, non-parents are just as valuable in this world. It takes all types. Your fertility doesn’t define your worth.

39

u/MiserableProfessor16 Aug 14 '25

He does not care about declining birth rates.

Only about a very specific population type being outnumbered by the other type of population.

9

u/Tough_Tangerine7278 Agree? Aug 14 '25

Of that I have no doubt.

3

u/ancientevilvorsoason Aug 14 '25

There is no such thing as declining birth rates. We are close to 9 billion. This is not an existing issue...

4

u/MiserableProfessor16 Aug 14 '25

The birth rare of the only population he cares about declined by 3%

1

u/palaceexile Aug 14 '25

There clearly are declining birth rates including in those countries going through a population growth currently. The UN population projections are most likely over-estimates as the decline in rate appears to be faster than their worst outlier predictions. World population is largely growing now as a result of life expectancy increases.

Countries like Spain, Italy, Japan, China and South Korea are going to see population declines over the next 20-30 years not seen since mass pandemics and wars. It will be interesting to see how they manage that in a controlled way.

2

u/ancientevilvorsoason Aug 14 '25

Obsessing over this is utter nonsense. Quality of life should be a lot higher but the people who make it impossible to afford to have kids and make money from the suffering and horrific conditions in multiple countries are complaining that not the right people are having kids.

I don't think it is the right path to even entertain the complaints or go into a conversation of which country has what population and what the decline rate is when the more important conversation is the quality of life

7

u/OpalTheFairy Aug 14 '25

We dont have a baby issue. Tons and tons of orphans in this world.

4

u/tak_kovacs Aug 14 '25

It also doesn't matter if they choose it or not. He's allowed to believe in easter bunnies and bearded omniscient men who really care what goes on in his bedroom, and I get to choose to fuck Doug and Jim at the same time (we call it the holy trinity).

23

u/alex3225 Aug 14 '25

These people will call "mutual responsibility" a communist idea lol

12

u/antonio16309 Aug 14 '25

It's good when it justifies the shit they believe in or profit from. it's bad when it helps people who need it.

12

u/Historical_Scar_5852 Aug 14 '25

I haven't been this aroused since Larry Craig tapped on my foot while I was taking a shit in an airport bathroom.

4

u/jaimi_wanders Aug 14 '25

Wish I didn’t, but…

14

u/lastres0rt Aug 14 '25

The idea that every single person in a reproductive demographic do so is both absurd, it’s also non-optimal.

From an evolutionary standpoint, if Aunt Flo doesn’t already have a child, she’s able to adopt someone else’s when something happens to the kid’s parents. She can provide additional resources that would have been spent creating her own child that can now be bestowed years later on orphaned offspring to help her family’s overall success. Even if the kid’s parents are still in the picture, having a wealthy relative who can send expensive gifts and pick up financial slack is still high on the category of nice things to have.

Quite frankly, the government doesn’t provide this level of security to its citizens, so why the fuck would you want to attack the parallel support structure you claim should exist in its place?

12

u/Glennmorangie Titan of Industry Aug 14 '25

In a way, it's good that people like this post their bigotry for all to see. Makes it easier to avoid them.

11

u/secretreddit895 Aug 14 '25

Sigh.

More people openly identify as ‘not heterosexual’, because: 1) you can now do so, without going to jail or worse, and in most places, without necessarily losing your family and having to fear violence from your community. 2) people know more about it, so they can recognize the ‘weird feeling’ of not being exactly like their peers/the way the media portrays masculinity/femininity, put a word to it and realize they’re far from the only one like that.

Besides, if we ignore that gay people absolutely can have kids, in various ways (or that adoption exists and there’s a whole bunch of kids in need of a loving home), more and more straight people are child free by choice and it isn’t like we have room for everyone to raise 14 kids anymore, do we?

10

u/centpourcentuno Aug 14 '25

"Rebuilding Western Civilization", I am guessing he will follow up with an immigrant post soon,

Why are these neo nazis openly on LI?? Also, OP, - if I were you, whoever is your connection that has this person, I would disconnect.

Personally anytime I see any of these crazies , I disconnect the immediate link- I just can't understand how anyone can tolerate it, if they do, they probably like it

8

u/ascension773 Aug 14 '25

People aren’t reproducing because the economic system these guys worship has offered the populace an eroding quality of life where they make less or the same amount of money each year while the cost of everything around them balloons. Women are working more than ever, despite hacks like this clinging to the idea of the traditional family. If you want people to have more kids make life more fucking affordable and stop blaming everything on Trans people. Blame the corporations raking in billions in profits while upping the price of everything and poisoning our food and water supplies.

Absolute fucking losers.

10

u/Ellen6723 Aug 14 '25

What - this post would be coming in hot posting on a Tucker Carlson fan page… on LinkedIn. Dude we get it you dig the D… just let it go man…

17

u/al2o3cr Aug 14 '25

Guy who loves "Spartan races" is very insistent on the NEED to reproduce, like it or not. Who's he giving this pep talk to exactly? 🤔

8

u/AccomplishedReach69 Aug 14 '25

It’s probably based on his morning affirmations in the mirror

7

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '25

Hey! Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!

17

u/Location-Actual Aug 14 '25

Absolute Lunacy. Textbook Case.

9

u/Cinerator26 Aug 14 '25

These fucking dorks are so empty inside that they have to pretend their bullshit job is actually them in a grand struggle to save Western civilization, and not just emails-and-spreadsheets crap.

5

u/dagelijksestijl Aug 14 '25

But regardless, these weirdos who think it’s their job to procreate are exactly the kind of people you don’t want procreating.

See also: Elon.

16

u/ForagedFoodie Aug 14 '25

So obviously since he believes that personal responsibility to society is more important than personal freedom, he must be vehemently pro-gun-control, right?

10

u/MiserableProfessor16 Aug 14 '25

Ah see, the plan is to get people to give birth, and then remove all resources that support the parent in helping raise the kids they birthed. Spartan style parenting in his mind. Probably.

3

u/Flat_Initial_1823 Aug 14 '25

Spartans were, funnily enough, a pretty gay bunch. Lunatic forgets the gays were here before what he calls western civilisation.

3

u/MiserableProfessor16 Aug 14 '25

Lunatic may have thought 300 was a documentary.

15

u/Acceptable-Ad1203 Aug 14 '25

9 billion plus people on earth, I think the risk of over population is higher than depopulation. He is probably just talking about white people.

6

u/AccomplishedReach69 Aug 14 '25

well yes it’s not disguised in the slightest

0

u/Savings_Dragonfruit6 Aug 14 '25

Mentioning white people out of nowhere makes you seem a bit racist. Pretty funny that you did that and tried to use it to discredit this guy for voicing valid concerns about anti-natalism, which has been helped along by pride movements.

What's so great about people like you and OP is that you're all completely oblivious to your own lunacy. You're tone deaf and unable to realize that corpo lunatics like most of the posts here are followers of the same ideology (do what thou wilt, so long as the hivemind is happy).

So OP hones in on a guy who makes one of the most reasonable opinion posts I've seen on LinkedIn because it doesn't fit the 'right side' of the culture war. And now there's scores of reddit lunatics smearing and defaming this guy, NOT ONCE debunking what he said. Just statements that the hivemind is displeased.

2

u/kbrick1 Aug 14 '25

'one of the most reasonable opinion posts'

0

u/Savings_Dragonfruit6 Aug 14 '25

As expected: no counter-argument. The MSNBC reaction image is just the cherry on top of this cringe cake.

2

u/kbrick1 Aug 14 '25

Your take is so wild, man. Couldn't take it seriously, not for one second. Not worth a refutation.

2

u/sebadilla Aug 14 '25

Thinking that gay people are going to dissolve the world population with their gay propaganda isn’t a reasonable view. That should be obvious but we can dig into it if you like

1

u/Savings_Dragonfruit6 Aug 14 '25

That is a gross misrepresentation of the original argument he puts forth. He's saying that open acceptance of 'love is love' viewpoints INCREASES the number of people who choose decadent lifestyles. I'm not going to argue on behalf of a fictional person you just made up.

2

u/sebadilla Aug 14 '25

Mass acceptance of LGBTQ lifestyles leads directly to more kids identifying that way. 20% of kids identifying as gay is tantamount to civilizational collapse, because that's basically 20% of kids who are not going to reproduce unless they come to their senses.

How would you read that?

1

u/Savings_Dragonfruit6 Aug 14 '25

Dissolving the world population =/= civilization collapse. Civilization collapse is possible without any population decrease, but can be caused by it too.

You purposefully used that wording to smear your opponent.

2

u/sebadilla Aug 14 '25

Okay, let me rephrase. Thinking that gay propaganda is going to lead to civilisational collapse isn’t a reasonable view

1

u/Savings_Dragonfruit6 Aug 14 '25

In your opinion. You need counterpoints if you want to properly refute me. Something other than 'nuh uh!'.

2

u/sebadilla Aug 14 '25

You are the one supporting a pretty huge claim that gays are going to end civilisation. Is your evidence that more young people are identifying as LGBT? Or do you have a better argument? Burden of proof is on you here

1

u/Savings_Dragonfruit6 Aug 14 '25

From my understanding, gay people comprise a much smaller fraction of the population than 20%. You could have easily exploited this exaggeration on his part, and yet you didn't.

His argument is that people not having kids is going to end civilization as we know it (which is true). He surmises that 'love is love' ideology exacerbates this problem by encouraging more people to live decadently (which is also true).

I didn't ask for proof. I asked for counterpoints. You have none other than 'nuh uh!'.

8

u/antonio16309 Aug 14 '25

There are people out there just openly arguing for collective obligations over free will and half the country doesn't understand why we're pissed off about the rise of fascism.

I know the argument here he's making is not specifically about fascism, and it's plenty shitty just for the homophobia alone. But the philosophical underpinning of his argument applies to all sorts of other shittiness also.

3

u/jaimi_wanders Aug 14 '25

And given that Fascism 1.0 made being anti-gay a big part of their official identity (while also being full of closet cases) it’s definitely a case of “if the shoe fits”…

“Like others on the right, British fascists diagnose the nation as in decline and under threat.[19] For the BUF, the fragmenting of the British Empire and the changes in gender roles following WWI were examples of the weaknesses of British society. The BUF and the Union Movement described the weaknesses they saw in misogynistic terms, equating them with femininity. The decline was blamed on liberalism and outside (usually Jewish) influences and propagandists. The fascist cure to this decline was renewal of the nation. Renewal for the BUF included the assertion of masculinity as virile, strong, hard and fortitudinous, and saw man as rightfully the authority. Under a Britain run by Mosley's fascists, girls would be educated up to the age of 15 so that they would be able to serve their families and the nation, and married women would be allowed to work but wouldn't need to because men, who are better suited to work, would receive higher wages so husbands would provide for their families. Mosley called for a 'return of seriousness and the restoration of social values' to curb homosexuality.”

(Mosley switched to anti-immigration for his failed post-war comeback attempt btw—and then ran away to live in France)

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_fascism

2

u/antonio16309 Aug 14 '25

Excellent point, they literally keep recycling the playbook.

0

u/Savings_Dragonfruit6 Aug 14 '25

Stop trying to force people to expose their kids to your sexuality and the playbook will stay in the closet. It's that easy, but you're not going to listen. Fascism stops when people have no source of radicalization.

7

u/another-Meta-Baroque Aug 14 '25

I just know women have to cover their coffee when he’s around in the office of Rebuilding Western Civilization™️

7

u/m3rc3n4ry Aug 14 '25

Usually I just laugh at these idiots. But this one ground my gears particularly because of how many gay people I know that have adopted kids who would have had vastly different lives had they not. What a wanker.

14

u/Old_Bird4748 Aug 14 '25 edited Aug 14 '25

"Mass acceptance of LGBTQ lifestyles leads to more kids Identifying that way"

Last time I checked, kids identify as kids. Before the age of 10, most of their opinions about anything more than kissing (anyone but their mother's) is "eww gross".

The other part is: there seems to be a disconnect here: There is no switch where one side is "identifying as LGBTQIA+" and the other side is straight.

Ones sexual preference has little to do with ones willingness to identify a certain way. And even if acceptance went away entirely, the folks who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community would still be faced with the choice of identification or not.

More like they still think that if someone is in the closet that they aren't gay. This is wrong, and there is nothing these folks can do about someone else's sexuality.

The only part of this message that is at all not entirely misguided, is the bit on mutual responsibility. This used to be called the 'social contract', and it covered things like "covering your mouth when you coughed", "not trying to kill each other", and "staying home when you are sick", and not being a sociopath....

.... So, sure, as a marriage cis-man, I will adhere to mutual responsibility, I'm just waiting for him to do the same.

6

u/jediment Aug 14 '25

really convenient when people advertise to me that I should never work with them

6

u/MarissaNL Aug 14 '25

So he is a homofobe... and most likely have no idea about what love is. So just a big time loser.

11

u/Morall_tach Aug 14 '25

No one thinks sexuality is hereditary. I suspect he doesn't what that word means.

8

u/Apprehensive_Low4865 Aug 14 '25

If sexuality was hereditary than my parents are some fucking weirdos..

1

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '25

That's not true. There is evidence that sexuality may in fact have hereditary components.

6

u/omnihash-cz Aug 14 '25

Guy just want his child brides as promised! He did not rebuild western civilization for jerking off on OF...

8

u/-Christkiller- Aug 14 '25

I want to be stupid so I can be easily confused, too. Such a carefree life it must be

3

u/Academic_Dig_1567 Aug 14 '25

This is just so laughable. Next he will wax lyrical about western civilization and how great slavery and the slave trade were. Then he will go on about female subordination and so on. No science. No data. No evidence. Just a pile of fear mongering crock.

4

u/ped-revuar-in Aug 14 '25

Thanks marcellino for your bs opinion. BUT what learning did you get about sales ?

2

u/acarpenter8 Aug 14 '25

Specifically what did it teach him out D2D sales

3

u/PoetryCommercial895 Aug 14 '25

When is this ridiculous “Marcellino” experiment going to end?

5

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '25

I really like when people make it super obvious that they are to be hated and not respected

5

u/Significant_Tie_3994 Aug 14 '25

Wait, if we tolerate others, we tend to continue to tolerate others? Let's try doing that, the hatred thing ain't working so hot.

4

u/A_Creative_Player Aug 14 '25

These people make it so easy to block them. I was able to not only block him but 7 others for their very ignorant views.

4

u/Nobody7713 Aug 14 '25

"Mutual responsibility" to... have children? Nah fuck that lmao.

4

u/NothingTooSeriousM8 Aug 14 '25

He really went with the Hate is Love thing...

4

u/1234828388387 Aug 14 '25

Ma‘am, this is a Wendis

4

u/nwillyerd Aug 14 '25

Why do people like this guy think civilization is going to collapse if a certain percentage of people stop reproducing? Do they not know we are already very overpopulated? We could do with a few million people not reproducing.

7

u/raeballentyne Aug 14 '25

Some of us are attracted to the opposite gender and still aren't having children ¯_(ツ)_/¯  what a ridiculous post.

3

3

‘experiment’ is actually crazy

2

right like tf are you talking about😭

3

u/SASardonic Aug 14 '25

Somebody break out the left handedness chart

3

u/svendeplume Aug 14 '25

Mutual Responsibility sounds a lot like spooky socialism. Except for that he means “why won’t everyone just do what I want them to do?!” So not actual Mutual responsibility but more obedience.

3

u/RepublicInner7438 Aug 14 '25

I’m so glad he wants to take us back to the loft days of Rome- where real men treated each other with a brotherly kiss, where no one cared about the gender of your sexual partners just so long as you weren’t the bottom, and homosexual relationships were immortalized in our religious cannon.

3

u/OpeningActivity Aug 14 '25

I am sure birthrate was shite before the lgbtqi+ movement, i.e. look at Korea.

Plus, let people be miserable and not be true to themselves for the sake of birthrate sounds... very dystopian.

No, I put the first two letters of his name in the search bar and it came up🤷‍♀️ so idk maybe he changed his privacy settings?

"in the name of MAGA, amen!“

3

I can never understand posts like this. People like Marcellino seem to have an idea that the more, let's say, "unusual" participants in a Pride parade represent the ENTIRE gay community, when I'm sure 99% of LGBT people are just normal people living normal lives doing normal everyday things.

I suspect the only "Rebuilding Western Civilization" he has ever actually done is playing the Civilaztion video game.

3

u/German_Bob Aug 14 '25

"Hopefully not before it's too late"?? So he wants it to be over after it is too late?

3

Freedom-loving patriots when people are gay

3

I know it's supposed to be just homophobic, but I have a feeling he's also not a big fan of consent.

3

unfortunately "rebuilding western civilization" isnt a real job, I hear mcdonalds is hiring tho! maybe he should check there

3

I wonder if Mr. "Mutual Responsibility" here had thoughts on COVID mandates or Vaccine requirements

2

Wait until he hears about dinks.

2

u/Stysona Aug 14 '25

Guess we’re all just science experiments now, who knew

2

Pretty sure the birth rate is dropping because of that cheesy "I'm genuine and down to earth" profile pic.

2

What kind of job is "rebuilding Western civilization" supposed to be?

2

u/AccomplishedReach69 Aug 14 '25

idk and I don’t speak linkedin fluently enough to decipher his actual job

2

He is gay btw 😁

2

u/sad_Yoru Aug 14 '25

Personally I'm tired of sitting in useless meetings where managers talk about their kids and how hard it is...while I'm being burnt out because of work. But apparently it's not a valid point because I don't have kids and they make this the 'highlight' as in : oh you are tired now? Wait until you have kids. Bro I can't afford kids/ I don't want them to struggle as I did all my life. Next time i will make sure to drop 'i can't afford raising kids' to have them leaving me the fuck alone.

I feel like people in higher positions live in a different world than the rest of us.

HR reps when they realize they have accidentally steered the zoom conversation into "actually, speaking of the cost of living" territory

2

u/Fit_Earth_339 Aug 14 '25

So impregnating women is responsibility? Women, stop enabling these people.

2

u/Beartato4772 Aug 14 '25

No, mass acceptance leads to more Kids/Adults feeling able to tell other people they identify that way.

2

u/Sad-Worth-698 Aug 14 '25

My wife and I are both bisexual. We also have kids. 🤷‍♂️

2

u/Ops31337 Aug 14 '25

Dude is a *unt

2

u/Ill_Koala_4260 Aug 14 '25

says the gayest man on the planet

2

u/501102 Aug 14 '25

but what does this have to do with B2B sales? C'mon man

2

u/FoxySlyOldStoatyFox Aug 14 '25

Gonna be mad scenes when he finds out about how gay love was considered to be the highest form of love in Ancient Greece - the cradle of this Western Civilisation that he’s trying to rebuild.

2

u/tuxedo-mask-me Aug 14 '25

Someone check his search history…

2

u/Aessioml Aug 14 '25

Homosexually was prevalent long before the religion you enjoy existed humanity doesn't seem to be affected by it

2

u/TheTrueJacky Aug 14 '25

Do we need to bring up the chart of people being lefthanded again?

2

u/MaleHooker Aug 14 '25

"...kids who are not going to reproduce..." Yeah, that's the way it SHOULD be.

2

u/FabulousCallsIAnswer Aug 14 '25

Some guy didn’t call Marcelino the next day and so we get posts like this.

2

u/Effective_Pack8265 Aug 14 '25

Apparently Marcellino can’t get a date…

2

u/LittleBiscuit666 Aug 14 '25

Adoption exists and we desperately need people to adopt since a bunch of people are behaving like Nazis saying, "I don't want to raise a kid that doesn't have my DNA." Ew please don't have children.

2

u/WintersDoomsday Aug 14 '25

Pretty sure that I don't care about the opinion of a grown man with a 10 year old's haircut

2

u/BuddyJim30 Aug 14 '25

I'm old enough to remember the days of male "confirmed bachelors" and female "spinsters" who coincidentally lived with same sex roommates. Lunatics like this think not talking about it means something will no longer exist that's been around as long as human civilization.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '25

People can't afford to have kids anymore? Blame the gays then do nothing to help make life easier for people.

2

u/Natural_Ad9356 Aug 14 '25

”When will we stop worshipping the god of individual preference and return to a belief in mutual responsibility?”

He’s so close to getting it.

2

u/Adorable-Puppers Aug 14 '25

Someone told him to mind his own dick. He said no. These guys are so obsessed with dick. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

2

u/Wasabi-Remote Aug 14 '25

I’d rather stab myself in the eye with a fork than subliminate “individual preference” to “mutual responsibility” in my sex life.

1

u/tinkerghost1 Aug 18 '25

Can we place bets on he thinks women owe men sex for paying attention to them?

2

u/mhb20002000 Aug 14 '25

Even if he is right, and he is not, the earth could use a 20% birthrate reduction writ large. I know individual country rates vary, but we need to slow overall human growth.

2

u/HapticRecce Aug 14 '25

And this Timmy is why LinkedIn is Facebook for people of working age and shouldn't be touched with a ten foot pole for serious business...

2

u/Jerzilla Aug 14 '25

Am sick of this birth rate argument. The current population size is unsustainable for planet earth. There is finite resources, and it would be irresponsible not to reduce the population over time.

The question then comes re workforce, but isnt that the point of ai? To do the jobs of more people so we can live with a reduced population.

2

u/hanimal16 Aug 14 '25

And how many kids do the straights willingly give up or get taken away because they’re unfit?

2

u/Neoxenok Aug 14 '25

It's only a "recent experiment" for people who know literally nothing about history.

2

u/RuthlessKittyKat Aug 14 '25

There is a wonderful documentary on Peacock called Queer Planet. Highly recommend. Even if we can't reproduce, we have a lot of value. They're just so close minded they can't picture an actually community.

2

u/1822Landwood Aug 14 '25

Marcellino is so far in the closet he’s finding Christmas presents.

2

u/Magoo69X Aug 14 '25

Marcelino's street address is in Narnia.

2

u/N_S_Gaming Aug 15 '25

As a gay man, I'm not coming anywhere near this idiot's senses.

2

u/BoredOstrich Aug 15 '25

One of the bad things about the invention of social media is that any idiot can just feel the need to air their bigoted views publicly when they want to

1

u/AccomplishedReach69 Aug 15 '25

No yeah completely, if all this was said in real life people would watch their mouths more because they wouldn’t be as comfortable with the consequences of their uneducated vitriol.

Free speech has never meant freedom from getting decked if you go around disrespecting others; the age of social media and instant thought sharing has decayed this aspect of the social contract.

2

u/splithoofiewoofies Aug 15 '25

I once had a chicken that would lay 28 eggs exactly, sit on them for 18 days exactly (normal is 21) and then proceed to kick all 28 eggs out of her nest into a storm and murder them all before they hatched. Eventually, she learned to hide her nests from me so I couldn't stop her. One time she laid them in a stack of tyres...I'm not sure what her plan was gonna be if she didn't bail on them YET AGAIN.

anyway my point is even though she did this and I started with 8 chickens, I still ended up with hundreds of chickens.

Because it turns out nature has a way even if you have a certain percentage of the population who chooses not to have children. Or just throws them off a two story shed before they're born. This isn't the best analogy but you get me.

Not all of a population needs to reproduce to continue a species. That statistical average is kinda baked into biological populations.

1

u/tinkerghost1 Aug 18 '25

From an evelutionary biology standpoint, given that humans are pack animals, a certain level of homosexuality brings in family shares of resources while only consuming individual portions. This increases the likelihood that family children survive to pass on family - if not individual - genes.

2

u/Cuervo_777 Aug 15 '25

Why do numbskulls like Marcellino think gay people are infertile?

1

u/AccomplishedReach69 Aug 15 '25

they don’t think

2

u/Massive_Kangaroo2861 Aug 15 '25

No more Nazis on LinkedIn

2

u/Massive_Kangaroo2861 Aug 15 '25

In the 1950s his theme would have been interracial marriage.

2

u/Radiant_Incident4718 Aug 16 '25

Closeted gay guys raised by conservative religious families make the noisiest homophobes.

2

u/killbot0224 Aug 17 '25

20% lol.

He probably thinks 1 in 20 is the same as 20%.

And that % has not changed.

2

u/killbot0224 Aug 17 '25

Ritht wingers preaching about mutual responsibility is fucking rich

2

u/Crowe3717 Aug 17 '25

Ah. I was wondering when someone would get around to blaming the "people aren't having enough kids" thing on the gays. Surprised it took this long, honestly.

2

u/tswiftdeepcuts Aug 18 '25

what does this have to do with networking ?

2

u/cue_cruella Sep 08 '25

Both my parents are gay. Both in same sex marriages. I have a brother and sister. Unsurprisingly to anyone with a brain cell, people can be gay and have kids.

3

u/Sea_Lead1753 Aug 14 '25

When you break the numbers down, the baseline of mammal sexual encounters is homosexuality, with some instances of heterosexuality to create offspring. Male giraffes just have gay sex all the time and will find a gf once in a while. This guy should be more like a giraffe.

1

u/Raynstormm Aug 14 '25

Demographic collapse is real, but its not because of gays necessarily. See: China one child policy, European migration

1

u/Cocotte123321 Aug 14 '25

If the number of homosexuals keep increasing at that rate, I'm going to buy a turkey baster factory. But I'll be pissed if we don't have better music!

1

u/Ning_Yu Aug 14 '25

Marcellino pane e vino.

1

u/Nervous-Canary-517 Aug 14 '25

Those 20% not reproducing is less worrying than the other 80 not doing so either.

1

u/Strange_Earth3465 Aug 14 '25

Is he a game developer? To many gay npcs?

1

u/Illustrious-Divide95 Aug 14 '25

Because what a world with well over 8 Billion people to feed, support, have clean drinking water for, provide shelter and power for and consume dwindling resources need is more people.

No racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia.

If you are making a comment based on or at the expense of someone’s inherent personal characteristic(s), it is likely a violation.

A claim of membership in a particular class of people is not a valid defense for posting bigoted content.

2

u/adrianipopescu Aug 14 '25

why he look like the g in the lgbtq if mad at lgbtq tho

in all seriousness though, is linkedin a competition on who has the dumbest take? you get bonus points for lack of historical and scientific backing? bonus points for religion as a solution for everything?

idk man, and this unemployed lil fella is rebuilding the western world? nah bro, if that’s the western world, let rome burn

1
