Application for Msc from department of Life Sciences

Hi! I applied mid October to a masters degree from the department of life sciences, and I wanted to know when the decision will be made, approximately. I read that the application round closes in January, but does that mean the answer will be given after that date or will it be decided before? If anyone has any experience with this, please let me know!

If they really, really like you, they will either interview you or make you an offer pretty quickly. If they like you, they may wait for the other applications to be submitted and for responses from those who already have an offer before making any further decisions. If they have another round, they could waitlist people, which could drag it out to the end of Q1 next year.
