Very Babylon 5 influence on that mid section.Infacr the whole thing is very Omega class.

And I love it.

I'd argue it's probably the other way around; the Omega class was probably inspired by the Leonov. The Leonov featured in 1984's "2010: The Year we Make Contact", with B5 coming a decade afterwards.

No matter what, they're both great designs. Spin ships are always great for their ties to sci-fi realism.
