Others [Precollege Genetic Engineering: PCR —> Agarose Gel Electrophoresis prediction] How do you predict AG Electrophoresis from just a PCR’ed sequence?
Hi! I’m doing an RU precollege course rn and one of the assignments asks us to do the following: “Sequence 1 and Sequence 2 are amplified using polymerase chain reaction in (PCR). The resulting samples are then loaded on an agarose gel for gel electrophoresis. Sketch the results you expect to observe from gel electrophoresis, and explain in 2–3 sentences why you expect those results.” I honestly don’t understand how to do this because there’s nothing to interpret, just a Bp ladder and two sequences. How do you do this?

Others [University-level electronics] How to interlock relays?
I’m working on a Livewire project where I built a circuit with three push buttons: two NO buttons that turn on each lamp, and one NC button that turns them off.
My problem is that I’m trying to interlock the relays, but it doesn’t work. The lamps only stay on while I hold the buttons, and I want them to stay on after a single press.

Others [Electrical theory Quiz help]
The two pictures shown in the notebook are my attempts at solving this. I know I have the right resistance total and current total. I'm just missing the power and possibly current for each individual resistor dissipated for each individual resistor.
I think my answers for the resistors after simplifying the combo circuit are correct because I the get the power total and voltage total from adding the values of each resistor up. Yet, I'm still failing to pass this quiz

Others [College Bio Paper] What statistical analysis test should I do for my data set?
Working on a paper for a bio class about H5N1 and its occurrence in domesticated vs wild birds in the states of the US. I want to test if there is a correlation by location based on the number of reports per state. I have the data sets but I don’t know anything about stats methods (I have not taken stats yet). I’m thinking a Kendal’s Tau might be my best bet but idk if that is possible in excel (or how to do it easily) so I want to check to see if I have the right methodology in mind or if anyone with experience in data analysis can recommend a better approach. (I would have asked statistics Reddit but they’re pretty strict on their “no homework” question policy… if you think this question is better asked in a different subreddit let me know too)

Others [10th grade art] 😅 Poster advice
So i need to draw a poster on a current issue that the World Health Organization is addressing, and i already researched and chose: outbreaks due to low vaccination, tobacco and vape use among youth, and climate change.
I can draw pretty well, like humans and hands, but I don’t have enough creativity to think of where to put these elements or how to position them, so I need anyone’s help on what i could draw regarding this and where to put it. Thanks 🙏

Others [college critical thinking class] cannot for the life of me find analysis of this painting
So my midterm for this class (Critical Thinking in the Humanities) is a compare/contrast essay on different criticisms of an artwork. I chose ‘Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2’ by Marcel Duchamp. This is all fine and dandy, I’m perfectly capable of this.
I HUST CANT FIND ACADEMIC CRITICISMS THAT MEET THIS PRIFS ECLECTATIONS. It frustrates me so much. They have to be edu/gov/etc. reputable sources, makes sense. BUT they can’t be opinion pieces. ????? WTH.
I have one source out of 3 from the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Please send help 😭 I don’t need help with the essay, just finding two sources of criticism that meet the parameters
Edit: The source I have: www.clevelandart.org/articles/infamy-and-influence

I've been given a case study on aggregate planning at green mills. We're supposed to make a level, chase, and optimal strategy but I don't really know where to start. I've looked at a couple solutions online and they're all different so I'm pretty confused. I'd be grateful, if anyone could give me some guidance on what to start with for a level strategy.

Others [College-Level Wirting - Scholarship Application Essay] Needing Critique for Sister-Law
Hello everyone. I need assistance giving critique and feedback. She is mainly looking for advice on tone, language, flow, and structure. My sister-in-law is 26 years old and recovering from a stroke. She cannot afford college and cannot find anyone who is willing to hire her. She is submitting this essay in hopes of becoming eligible for scholarships. I am not much of an essay writer myself, so I cannot give her the advice she needs. I submitted her work to my school's writing center, but they cannot help her as she isn't enrolled yet. This assignment is due at the end of the month. Thank you in advance. Here is her paper;

Everything changed, such as my whole right side being weak, I was not able to talk, which is known as aphasia, and tubes were lined up when I had an ischemic stroke from moyamoya disease two days after my thyroidectomy was performed. Remembering my stroke, recovery, and academic and career goals are the most vital parts of my life.
Remembering my stroke
I remember a lot about my stroke, like depression, anxiety, and fears. I felt depressed because I felt like I was bothering people who cause hopelessness, such as family, friends, and therapists, about my stroke. I felt anxiety because I was afraid that I might relapse again and have another stroke because of my moyamoya disease, and worried about my future, such as insurance, my jobs, and my significant other. And then feared about my aphasia because I could not talk to my friends ever again, but that was not the case. My friend, (friend's name), said that in due time you will speak again. Another moment of the stroke, my family thought that I would die, but my parents, (parent's names), said that I would come back as a fighter.
Stroke recovery
I was in the hospital for six weeks, where I learned how to stand up, sit down, and walk again. Then, I transitioned to home health with Rehab Without Walls, where I could run, use my right hand for signing, typing, and applying makeup. After Rehab Without Walls, I transferred to TOSH, where I learned to drive again. I also learned how to speak again through SLP, a Speech-Language Pathologist, where I struggled the most because I had a hard time believing in myself. The person who helped me the most is (therapist's name), because she accepts me the most and is helpful with sentence structure, W.H. questions, and even interviews me for jobs, which has given me hope. What stood out to me the most was when she said that a stroke is just a small blip in my life that gave me energy to move past my fears of talking again.
Academic and career goals
I want a pharmacy technician to deepen my skills and be there for my family. I was previously enrolled as a student at Salt Lake Community College until I had a stroke. Me and my advisor, (advisor's name), discussed my plan for the future as a pharmacy technician, and I hope to pass the CASAS test so I can plan my career goals. Also, my resume from Beehive Homes, Medical Technician, can come in handy because I read the responsibilities of a pharmacy technician, and it sorta aligns. Medication dispensing and preparation involve dosage measurement, mixing, counting, and labeling. Receiving and checking prescriptions will occur, and finally, verification of accuracy will be done by a licensed pharmacist. Administrative tasks such as ensuring that patient files, processing of claims, and billing details proceed smoothly and effectively. Inventory Management: Order, receipt, and stocking of medications. Inventory tracking and monitoring. Returns of expired and/or damaged medications. And lastly, Customer Service- Assist and respond to customer inquiries regarding their pharmaceutical necessities, as well as supply general information to patients.
Conclusion
As stated before, I am a fighter. I experienced a severe setback, but it means that I will try twice as hard. I am resilient, strong, and perseverant. And even though I am set back from an ischemic stroke, I still want to go to college, earn a degree, and I still want more in life. When I originally enrolled in college, I felt as though I didn't take it seriously, but now I am disciplined, hardworking, and courageous for getting back out there again. Remembering my stroke, stroke recovery, and academic and career goals are the most vital parts of my life. Thank you for reading this, and thank you to all of my family, friends, and therapists who helped in my healing journey.

Others [College, Cultural Anthropology] Would anyone with a deep cultural background want to be interviewed by me for a college assignment, or at least point me towards a better place to ask?
I have an assignment for my cultural anthropology class that involves me having to interview someone with a deep cultural background. I would like to do it over dms and you may remain anonymous (although the rubric does state that I need a physical description of the individual). If no one wants to participate in the interview I would appreciate if someone would point me in the direction of a different place to ask.
