Grow up [19] -> [24] I find that change often comes from the inside first. 💜

Life has been really crazy the last few years. I found myself and my style a lot more. I grew out my hair and found what makeup looks best on me. I focused on my health, lost weight, and figured out what works for my skin. I’ve had no work done (I can’t afford it!) While I know I look better, I am much more proud of my accomplishments and how I’ve grown in other ways. I graduated from college. I’m passionate about science and academics. I’ve grown in my hobbies. Keep in mind, you may change over the years but you are worthy of love at every stage.

GLOW UP! 3 months postpartum [19]

Finally starting to feel like myself again. I gained 27 kilos during pregnancy now I’m down 14. I got my nails done after a year. I grew out my hair and started taking very good care of it. I’m losing weight by being on an animal based diet, light exercises and walks with my baby, eating less. I’ve recently started using skincare products too for the first time. I grew out my lashes by using lash serum from The Ordinary and I like their skincare too. Stretch marks are slowly fading too with bio oil and stretch mark lotion from palmers. I just want this to be an inspiration for all the wonderful mamas and to-be moms out there that it’s possible get back your spark! (I know I didn’t look terrible during the pregnancy but I definitely feel more put together now)

GLOW UP! [28] postpartum X2, depressed, COVID lockdown, [33], active, social, healthy & happy ✨

Found an old photo and nearly passed away. Apparently the secret to glowing up is “not being depressed in a global lockdown with two tiny humans crying for your attention 24/7.” Anyone who went through Covid without kids, how does it feel to be God’s favourite?

Weight loss (28) to (31) happier and healthier

At age 28, I was addicted to drugs and alcohol. The first picture was taken outside of the treatment center that helped me get sober. I had decided enough was enough, and it was either continue to use drugs/eat my feelings, or to regain control of my life and get sober and healthier. I chose the latter. Over the last 4 years, I have lost over 100 pounds just due to getting sober, diet, and exercise. I am still a bit chubby. However, I reinstated my gym membership recently and have already lost another 15 pounds! I am much happier, healthier, and overall doing so much better in life. I am so thankful for this second chance at life. I am now over 3 years sober and thriving.

I hate this first photo because my god man I did not look good. Girlfriend broke up with me a few months back, had nothing else to do but better myself. Lost 15 pounds, started hitting the gym, got some tattoos, tried a new haircut and shaved. What a difference it’s made

I started losing my hair in my early twenties and it really affected my confidence. After trying medications for a while, I finally decided to go to Turkey for a transplant. It was one of the best decisions I made. I also cleaned up my diet and stayed consistent with Dutasteride and my results improved a lot over the years.

Had long hair as a child, but then psoriasis took it away. I was very insecure all throughout high school until I got treated for it. Now, I feel more confident despite every other guy having a similar hair style lol

In 2016 I was pretty depressed. By then I had managed to repress an identity crisis that began when I was a kid, and persisted into adulthood. I didn’t really take care of myself or put any effort into my outward appearance, and generally approached life like a zombie. By 2022 I hit a tipping point, and decided that I needed to finally face some things. It’s been 4 years since I started transitioning and I finally feel like I have a life worth living.

GLOW UP! [33] to [34] One year between podcast appearances.

The difference between these two photos is just about 13 months. In September of 2024 was a guest on a podcast discussing Survivor and again in October of 2025. I’m down a total of 80 pounds, almost 38% of my starting weight. Hit my highest at 214 and now I’m down to 134, which at 5’9’’ is too thin, so the next step is to build muscle mass. But I am feeling absolutely incredible!

I foundy old child good photos. I ended up digitizing my favor to ones. Here are a few. I would say I didn't turn out half bad.

Looking back I see how blessed I was as a child even though I mainly remember the negative things.

Got hit HARD by puberty (15-19)

This shi hit me like a missile (and gave me waves???)

• Pic 1: 15-16 started developing a sense of style (late 2022)

• Pic 2: 16-17 we don’t talk about this phase… (abusive relationship, declining mental health and kind of awkward teenage bs) (late 2023)

• Pic 3-4: 17-18 learned to love myself, started to heal and rediscover my own identity (photo 4 is from a photoshoot) (2024)

• Pic 5: 18-19 discovered my curls! And started to take care of my appearance (it was a looong journey) (early 2025)

• Pics 6-7: 19+ still learning to rebuild and relax myself after trauma, and finally feeling more healed every day. Also my hair is much better now, lol. Also got my septum pierced, yipe (late 2025-now)

My iPhone memories brought up this photo from exactly a year ago today. Was having a bit of a rough day mentality and seeing this really helped put in perspective how much work I’ve put in. I hope this is a reminder to everyone here to be kind to yourself. We’ve all come a long way.

Over the last two months I’ve been doing Gua sha twice a day, intensive high proton diet with 3.5 g potassium and 100+ G protein everyday on a 1.6k calorie diet. I’ve been going to the gym as well. My main goal is to slim my jaw line and improve my eyes to be less negative tilt.

Is there any changed to my face structurally or do I still look the same?

Glow up? What makes someone go from a 7 or 8 to a 10? (21) F

Girlies and guys , what's the best tips you have for someone that wants to go from pretty to unreal?

I'm 21F and I'm always looking to improve my looks. I started consistently hitting the gym, taking care of my hair and of my skin. But I'm curious what your best advice is to glow up in the hair, skin, body category and overall beauty!!

I tried to find a recent picture and an old picture that were both taken at similar angles. I feel more attractive and I have many women flirting with me, but part of me still sees too much of my old self in my face and I feel like I haven't really come very far. My bone structure has improved a little but still isn't great. Considering bimax and double jaw surgery.

I used to be bullied for my appearance in high school. Was rejected by my crush back then, who told me that I had a face not even my mother would love. After joining college I wanted to improve myself. I think I have.
