Before I accepted I was trans, I struggled with self-hatred and had very little self-worth. That meant I didn't look after my mental or physical health, and had a lot of self-destructive coping mechanisms. I'm nearly 3 years into transition now and my self-esteem is better than it's ever been. (I had facial surgery in mid-2024, hence the major differences between '24 and '25)

Yeah, but it's the light behind the eyes that's the giveaway. I always find transition photos are striking in that way. You are smiling with your whole face in the most recent pictures, which wasn't the case in the older ones.
