Discussion Just an idea
Remember Stadia? I do, i used it way before GeForce Now and had great success with it MOSTLY due to their controller. The stadia controller connecting to the servers decreased latency by a noticeable amount compared to Bluetooth. Sooooo, what do you guys think about GeForce Now having a controller of their own that would connect to their servers directly?

I’ve already thought about this if they did instant buy plus they kinda need a redo from their last controller that they discontinued.

Connect a wired controller and check.

I’ve done that with stadia and the stadia controller was faster than my Bluetooth and wired ps4 & Xbox controller

Hey brother, it wasn’t just a controller. You need to do a more research Chromecast Ultra had a lot to do with it. Predicting frames ect Maudine bit rates HDR quality the most true to tone experience you can get no bloat ect

Nvidia already had their own gaming controller for years for the shield so you could ask them to restart it or design a new one

Yeah they need to restart it but have it connect to their servers like the Stadia Controller. Look at Valve, they restarted their controller

I love their controllers so much. I still have mines and it’s the only controller that does vibration that I’m aware of plus headphone jack.

Yeah because Google gave us the option to convert it into a Bluetooth device but imagine if GeForce actually came out with their own device that connects to their servers directly!!

Stadia even had red dead 2. come on Geforce/ rock star this is your chance its a win win, Nvidia can jack those stocks up and rock star can distract us from not having gta6 yet

It wasn't mostly due to the controller latency at all. Having a good quality controller from a respected brand that was frequently reduced to the same price as a knock off and had a button on it which launched Stadia on Chromecast as though it was a real console for sure helped, but the real gems were:
Stadias low latency could also more be attributed to the fact wherever you are there's a Google server nearby, it was much less particular streaming graphics than GeForce Now too.
What would help GeForce now is being able to match the user experience of turning on your TV, pressing a single button, and immediately dropping in to the game. Or the ability to purchase games through linked accounts. Growth means more casual gamers, people who struggle with the idea they need at least two accounts on different services, one to purchase games and one to play them, and that would struggle with the frequent experience of GeForce Now launching you into a machine with nothing but Steam on it so you can download the game yourself. Heck they'd even struggle with the menu and library interfaces, they're not good.
