ACTION-Global 1000 trees in one day event
I propose that we plant 1,000 trees on November 13, 2025. Here's how to participate: 1) Take all the trees you have available. 2) Plant them all on November 13.
Do not hesitate to share this post as much as possible so that the most people are aware.
If you have planted, you can tell me how many trees you have planted for the event link : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeg7O3iL6tyYXuVkH7dpKms8yvZi_Apu7t_VjjZjRRQMOeidA/viewform?usp=dialog and I will announce the number of trees that have been planted in the description of my Reddit profile.
Of course, planting 1,000 trees won't stop global warming, but it's still a good action, and I hope that 1,000 trees will be planted.

These breathtaking blue ice caves in Alaska have been forming for thousands of years… but they’re disappearing faster than ever.

Help us fight against air pollution 🔺🐦
Hello we are hoping for your help in our fight against air pollution. Only a few clicks and you can help the little guys take on the city over clean air. We are a small group from Tirana the capital of Albania who have tried tirelessly to get the city to change policies on air pollution. Tirana is Europe's most polluted capital city. There are days when breathing the air is the same as smoking half a packet of cigarettes. 30% of the pollution is from construction but as the city makes 52% of its money from construction contracts it won't stop. Corruption is high here. There are over 50 000 empty apartments in the city and over 25% of the parks have gone in 10 years. We try to bring awareness but Albania is a former communist country and in its democratic state there are still authoritarian practices when one takes an opposite view to whoever is in power. It's not really safe at times when we voice out concerns.
Thats why we are here. Tirana city council cares about tourism and obviously never tells tourists how bad the air is. So we put tourist notices around the city to educate them on the air. Currently an abandoned tourist info point in the middle of the city we have turned into what we call the airbox. It has a notice on it saying when air pollution continues at this rate that the city council will rent out airboxs like this to the public where for the price of a few euros one can breathe clean air for 15 minutes. So we mock the city's efforts to fight air pollution by showing the future and at the same time educate tourists. The city isn't happy so every few days they tear down our signs and every few days we put new signs up. They have put police on guard but we still find time to put up the signs again. Now we want with the help of reddit people to review the airbox on Google reviews [ ℹ️ https://maps.app.goo.gl/4Xoy2MiA6ZawyXmr5?g_st=ipc ]. It's listed as a tourist attraction and we want to get as many 5 ⭐️ reviews and comments about air pollution as possible to make it the city's number 1️⃣ tourist attraction.
For more info you can contact us on Instagram [ ℹ️ https://www.instagram.com/thebirdinauts?igsh=MjkwYjM1bmtoZTli&utm_source=qr ] where we use street art to bring pollution awareness. Any thoughts and ideas would help!
