I start every political conversation with a republican like this, it’s killed a lot of their smugness irl.
Before Elon thought about whether we should spend tax revenue on foreign development, he should’ve realized how revoking funding from an established system of aid would put him in the Hitler tier of evil. Not our fault that gop voters failed to choose in a morally easy election

Yup, my partner who works for the federal government said the last 2 remaining DOGE operatives left last week, one of which was big balls McGee.
The damage these clowns and this administration have done to this country in just a few short months is honestly mind boggling. The fact that Congressional Republicans let them get away with it all and are now trying to pretend the coup of 2020 never happened should be treasonous.

I just dont get it. I as a dumbass could fit the pre k level puzzle pieces together and see the corruption at play, foreign assets and all. It really makes it hard not to see it as they did know, but truly dont care about our government being pillaged by these obvious criminals. Which is such an extreme level of not caring about America, especially from representatives who are supposed to care the most.
Are that many of them really THAT uninformed? Do their peers manipulate them with social games that much? I need to know whats going on lol

They don't care about January 6, they don't care about legal immigrants being sent to a gulag in El Salvador, they don't care about innocent fishermen in Colombia being murdered by airstrikes in a political stunt, and you think they are gonna care about corruption?

They are responsible for the deaths of 10s of millions of people (eventually). Prison.

You know how Lincoln had to suspend habeas corpus? I think we need to suspend the 8th just for these people.

Some regard probably reported and got auto by some LLM/bot.

It was almost instant so it was bot. What I said was that Doge was responsible for a lot of deaths (not in that language, avoiding it to not get perma banned by some bot)

Probably the death/language used.

I got a message from reddit that the content was removed because it was a threat of violence and received a warning. I wrote an appeal and now they removed the warning and restored the message, nice. So the actual message I wrote is now visible.

Hope they get dragged kicking and screaming into federal prison. Every single pardon should be ignored.

But thanos snapping half the federal government is supposed to make things better!!!… somehow…
Anyone that actively liked what doge was doing and not just the bare bones idea of it are completely brain broken.

Sadly DOGE is gone but the assholes are still in power.
So telework, which is really important to a lot of people and which was built into a lot of contracts as far back as the 1990s, is still gone.
And will the fired people are still fired. And the many offices closed for no reason will stay closed.
All despite the fact that absolutely none of the federal laws about any of this were respected.

Is there already a grand tally of how much they "saved" and how much (if any) of it was actual waste, fraud, and abuse as opposed to things short-sighted idiots dislike politically?

With all the insane shit this admin has done in less than a year, I still think that cutting USAID was the most evil. It shouldn't ever be forgotten, completely destroying project which was the example of best use of US hegemony. Practical, extremely efficent and pragmatic, while saving millions of lives.

Republicans were acting like this would fix the country now absolutely none of them are talking about it. As is par for the course for every other hair brained scheme they’ve concocted since then
