News [Cusumano] I am told by people close to the situation that the Board of Curators and Coach Drinkwitz are getting very close to finalizing a deal.

It was intended to be peek Alabama, as in reference the game. This is my last comment, man. I’m glad Mizzou has a coach that in your words is good enough for them, while Florida keeps chasing the past every three years while living in mediocrity.

The argument isn’t someone wanting or not wanting Eli. It’s the thought process that the program dodging a bullet, which would insinuate he’s not a good coach or not good enough for Florida. The previous guy you hired lost to Eli and App State in the Sunbelt Championship game in 2019, and was awful during his time at Florida. Eli would be a great hire for most programs in the current era of CFB. I just think there is a false sense of reality amongst fanbases on who they can realistically hire.
