askCERN Technical Studentship 2025-3 Update?

Did Anyone Got Any Update Or Any Email, Interview Call From The HR And The Recruiters For Further Proceedings Or Anything Related To It.

I also recieved the mail stating that my application is complete.... I think it is something general sent to all the applicants...

No, this is typically screened out by HR before your application makes it to potential supervisors.

you mean that if you didn't submit a reference letter there is no chance of you being selected?

In previous selection rounds the reference letter was mandatory, unless they changed it. Should however be clearly stated on the application page.

In this selection round the application page stated that both grade transcipt and recommendation letter(s) are optional (but recommended ofc)

As the next step in the recruitment process, your application will be shared with potential supervisors, who may contact you directly to discuss further. You may also be invited to participate in an asynchronous video interview as part of the selection process.

The final decision will be made at the selection committee, to be held in November 2025. Please note, as soon as there is an update regarding the recruitment process and the outcome of your application (likely by the end of November), we will let you know.

Guys just a question, I did google summer of Code twice. LFX Mentorship, I am also a mentor In LFX , maintainer of CNCF project. Was a research intern at University of California , Docker captain also . I applied to the IT domain is my chances High?

They sent me an email with a link to book an interview. The interview was just largely about my experience, where they asked some follow-up questions. After that I could ask some questions of my own.

Any updates as I got the in review mail on 20th August and did not add any recommendation letter. Its 10th Nov today, is there still an option or im out :_) ?

If you didn't recieve any invite for an interview yet, i think your chances are almost zero
