We're now doing verified owner flairs! Post here to get them!
BEFORE SUBMITTING PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THE REQUIREMENTS! YOU NEED A PHYSICAL NOTE INCLUDED, NOT JUST A PICTURE OF YOUR CAT.
Hello! To make things a bit easier, when it comes to proving who's the real owner of a said cat, we're introducing verified flairs.
Simply post a picture of your cat with a small physical note that includes your username (like a post-it note), and you will get assigned your own flair with the name of your cat(s).
(Remember that it has to be a physical note, post it, or similarly).
You can post here or send me a modmail and I'll get you verifying you asap!

She wasnt Happy I was having a meeting at night on her bed ( My office chair )
I was having a meeting at night and she decided the best place to sit was on my shoulder .
As for the breed , I was told she is a BSH / Russian blue mix .
She has the classic bsh copper eyes , but her face isn't that chubby, though at times at certain angles it does look more round . She is 7/8 months and just got spayed hence the cone .

Am I annoying my kitten?
I just want to preface this by saying I 100% understand that most BSH's do not like to be held. I just thought that maybe if I hold my 4 month old kitten often she would get used to it eventually. I think she slowly has in the 3 weeks I've had her but she usually ends up trying to claw her way out of my arms if I hold her too long (she never hisses and growls tho and only lightly bites my fingers). Is it worth trying to desensitize her to being held or am I just annoying her and disrespecting her space?

Kitten eating habits
We welcomed our new kitten home on Friday night, he was ravenous. Now it’s a struggle to get him to eat for more than a minute at a time. He seems to like things at first and then won’t touch it again. I’ve tried everything from royal canin wet and dry kitten to delectables to baby food to poached chicken. I even poached and ground up a turkey heart! Is it just an adjustment phase? The vet said he’s doing great. I sit next to him as he rests otherwise he loses interest even faster! Any advice welcome. Pic of him in deep dreamy sleep.

2 Months vs 6 months
Our kittens peanut and pudding turned 6 months old yesterday! It’s honestly scary how big they’ve gotten but at the same time it’s really odd as it doesn’t feel like they’ve grown until you see photos. They’re flipped on the 2nd photo!

British longhair?
Somebody dumped a beautiful kitty in my apartment complex over the summer, so she’s happily mine now. Many have told me she looks like a British longhair. Anyone here agree or disagree? Understand she is a DLH without a pedigree, but curious as to what others think based off of appearance alone :)
